These terms cover your use of File First Aid (the “app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. Diagnosing files is free. Applying a fix is unlocked by a one-time purchase tied to your license.

What you may not do

• Resell, rent, or redistribute the app or your license.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where the law expressly permits it.
• Use the app to break the law or to access files you aren’t authorized to access.

Refunds

If the paid fix feature doesn’t work for you, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your purchase. Email us within 30 days and we’ll refund you — no interrogation.

Backups are your responsibility

The app is deliberately careful: it works on copies, avoids destructive actions, and makes its fixes reversible. Even so, you are responsible for keeping your own backups. We recommend Time Machine or an equivalent backup before making changes to important files.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t promise the app will diagnose or fix every problem, or that it will be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms over time. When terms change materially, we’ll update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where File First Aid is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
